The annual conference of the European Center for the Development of New Metal Alloys and Compounds (European C-MetAC) called ECMetAC Days 2024 is being held at the Institute of Physics, organized by the Institute and the Physics Department of the Faculty of Science and Mathematics. Over two days, November 26 and 27 in the lecture hall of the first wing of the Institute, you will be able to hear a series of interesting lectures by top researchers from several European countries, including seven lecturers from Croatia. The European C-MetAC gathers over 20 universities and national institutes from 13 European countries. This year’s conference is the 15th in a row, and this is the second time it has been held in Zagreb, after 2014. On the occasion of this anniversary, in the first three introductory lectures, participants will have the opportunity to hear more about the establishment of the Center and its development to date.
